On Tuesday, March 20th, we partnered with KRS, the largest salon consulting firm in the world. This partnership affords us the opportunity to provide new benefit programs for our staff, and puts us in a position to be a "career building" salon for young people who have chosen an industry that we are so proud to be a part of. These new programs have created their own "Buzz" of excitement in our salon, which translates into even better service for you, our valued guests.

REDKEN Artist and Educator Peter Bokanoski’s class held in our salon on March 19th which was thoroughly enjoyed by all of our staff. In addition to his role as a REDKEN Artist, Peter is the owner of Peter James Salon in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We feel that bringing guest artists in from around the country gives a look at trends "outside the box" that we call home.

All of our stylists attended a two day hands-on workshop held here in Birmingham on March 25th and 26th. The workshop was facilitated by REDKEN along with WYNN Salon Services. Day one’s focus was color theory, foiling techniques, and REDKEN’s newest color, Blond Icing. Day two’s agenda was all about new cuts and finishing touches.

As always, continuing education is the primary topic of our Buzz Page, as we strive to keep abreast with our ever-changing industry trends, but more importantly be the best that we can be for you. As we’ve said before, our never-changing goal is to be among the best salons in Birmingham.
